May 3^th    Job applications due in Coach Irwin’s box

                Teacher recommendation letter are due.

                ·       Ask TWO teachers from THIS year.

                ·       One must be a core class (Math, English, Science, or History)

May 5^th    Routine audition order posted

May 12    Weapon auditions starting at 3:30 pm, please arrive outside the gym by 3:15 pm

                Routine portion of leadership auditions following weapon auditions.

                ·       Perform a 1-1.5 minute routine twice 

                  ·       Teach 16 counts of routine in front of judges

                Interview order/time will be posted later that night.

Weapon Line Audition Information

Weapon line audition info.

When: May 12, 2017. Call time 3:15pm.

Where: CJH gym

Bring: Equipment and wear something you can move in.

What should I know:

            Flag skills: Left and right basics, singles and 1 ½ tosses. Routine

            Rifle skills: Left and right basics, and tosses taught at clinics. Routine

Clinic dates: May 1, 3, 8, 10 on the bridge 6:30-7:45am.

What if I make 2017-18 weapon line?

May 22^nd-July 3^rd practices will be held at the same time as summer guard.

July 7^th- July 21^st practices will be held on Fridays 7-10am.

Summer Guard

Thunder Color Guard  Summer Camp!

No past experience needed,

We’ll teach you eveything you need to know

Grades: 7th-9th in the 2017-18 school year 

Cost: $90 paid in the Centennial office

Includes:                                                                    

·     Three months of training. 

·     An opportunity to be in the Kaysville parade.

·     A T-shirt to wear in the parade and keep.

·     Three days training with Davis High Color Guard Team! 

When:  Beginning April 26^th

            Mondays and Wednesdays 

            6:30 am - 7:30 am 

            at Centennial Jr High.

West High Competition Information

CURFEW Friday Night 10:30. Bedtime 11:00 (earlier if parents want)

Since this is another close competition drop off/call time is at WEST HIGH SCHOOL at 1:00 pm.

We perform at 3:24 pm.  Awards are at approx 6:30 pm.

Reminder: Practice on Friday is mandatory for ALL color guard members.

Jan 9th, Monday, 6:15am ALL MEMBERS Jan 11, Wednesday, 6:15am FLAGS Jan 12, Thursday, after until 5:30pm ALL MEMBERS *this is when we could schedule extra gym tim Jan 13, Friday, 6:15am WEAPONS after MANDATORY PRACTICE ALL MEMBERS until 5:30pm *We have some guest instructors coming to help our members.

Jan 14, Saturday, Performance ALL MEMBERS There are no awards for this competition. Call time at Northridge High in Layton at 8:20am. Performance time is 10:10am. If you are going to come watch your student we suggest showing up at least 20 minutes early to prevent being locked out(the doors are closed during performances). We will clean up directly after the performance, at 10:30am students are welcome to leave.
